    This website (“Site”) belongs to the company called “Biosafety S.A.” with an address 72, Aiolou str., P.O. 10559, Athens, Greece (hereinafter the “Company”, “we”, “our” or “us”).

The use of the Site and your browsing on it are determined and governed by the stipulations and provisions below (the “Terms”). Before using the Site, please read carefully and make sure you have understood and agree with said provisions, rules, declarations and provisions, since further use of the Site and your navigation on the Site implies your explicit and non-provisional acceptance and agreement.

Biosafety S.A. has been active since 2001 in the field of Occupational Health & Safety, with the license of EXYPP from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (131740/03/02/2005), providing integrated Health & Safety Services based on scientific excellence and legal documentation.

    The website www.biosafety.gr has been developed by the Company in order to provide information regarding specific programs and service offered by Biosafety SA while enabling users both to be informed individually on programs tailored to their requirements.  

These website terms and conditions of use govern the use of the website and its applications and services and in no way substitute the contract and its terms, signed by the users of the website with the Biosafety  SA  regarding the products/services provided by the company which are governed by the individual contract. The terms of use of the website and the services of the company may be modified or revoked freely and at any time by the company. For this reason, visitors must check the content of the website in order to be aware of the current policy. 

 

The website is addressed and its use is permitted only to adults and legal representatives of legal entities with a legal capacity. 

 

The Company guarantees the quality, completeness and validity of the information provided on the Site, as well as the material characteristics of the products on the Site and the precision of the details regarding the services provided. In the context of good faith, the Company is not responsible for any mistakes of technical or typographic nature, which may have occurred unwillingly or due to the suspension of the website’s service due to force majeure.

IN NO EVENT SHALL COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL, DAMAGES, OR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, EVEN IF COMPANY HAS BEEN PREVIOUSLY ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE, INABILITY TO USE, OR PERFORMANCE OF THE INFORMATION, SERVICES, PRODUCTS, AND MATERIALS AVAILABLE FROM THIS SITE.  

If the foregoing limitation of liability is held to be unenforceable, the Company is only liable for significant lack of diligence in the case of delay in delivering ordered products or of information and services it provides itself through the Site.  

The Company  bears no responsibility for any technical issues which the users may face when trying to access the website or during their browsing on it, which are related to the performance or compatibility of their own infrastructure with the website. In addition, the Company bears no responsibility for the actions or omissions of third parties, and in particular for unfair third party’s interference in the products/services and/or information which are provided through the Company’s platform. Wherever the current website contains links to third party websites, the Company is not responsible for the contents of those websites, or any harm caused to the user by those sites.  

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for certain damages, so the above limitations and exclusion may not apply to you to the extent such jurisdiction’s law is applicable to these Terms.

      5. Users’ Obligations

Unless otherwise specified, the Site is for your personal and noncommercial use only. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any of the text, illustrations, logos or communications/newsfeed featured or displayed on the Site including without limitation text, graphics, photographs, images, moving images, sound, information, software, products or services and the arrangements thereof (“Content“), except as expressly permitted hereunder. The users of the website accept and commit to not using the Company’s website to send, transmit, publish or in any other way transmit illegal, damaging, threatening, racist, insulting, annoying, libellous, slandering, vulgar, immodest, or harmful to minors contents. You agree not to collect and/or use any product descriptions, images, listings or prices except for your own personal noncommercial use or to communicate with us. 

In addition, visiting and performing transactions through the Site must be for personal and private use, solely for legal purposes and in a manner which does not restrict or prevent third parties from using it. The user is obliged to use the Site in accordance with the law and the current terms, and to not proceed with actions or omissions which may cause the website damage or underperformance, or which may place the provision of services in jeopardy. 

     6. Our logo and other content(s) of our website

Our Company’s logo, as well as other content displayed in the Site, might be subject to intellectual property rights and are not to be used for any kind of purpose without our prior, written consent. 

The company holds the copyrights and intellectual property rights of this website’s contents, which either belong to the company or the company has acquired the legal rights to use them. The name and all trademarks, logos and all graphic designs depicted on the website are the company’s  property. 

It is prohibited to republish, reproduce, use or transmit the texts, images, graphics, logos and any other content of the site, in any manner or means for commercial or other purposes without the prior written permission of Company. The only permitted use of the above is personal information and use.

The user and Company shall comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws and regulations in the performance of its obligations set out under these Terms, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“ GDPR ”), in each case including all other successor legislation and regulation thereto (“ Data Protection Laws ”). 

Company processes personal data (as such term is defined in the Data Protection Laws) which it collects as a data controller (as the term is defined in the Data Protection Laws) in the course of providing the Services. Where data is processed by Company as a data controller, such processing is carried out in accordance with Company’s Privacy and Cookies Notice.

     8. Applicable Laws

To the extent permitted by law, the Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in all respects in accordance with the substantive laws of Greece. You agree that except as specified herein, any disputes directly or indirectly arising out of or relating to the Terms or the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Greece. You hereby irrevocably consent to such venue and to the exclusive jurisdiction of any such court over any such dispute.

  1. Severability

If any section or sections of these Terms are held to be invalid, illegal, unenforceable, or in conflict with the law of any jurisdiction, such holding shall not in any way affect the enforceability of the remaining sections.
