The protection of the health and safety of employees depends on a large extent on the ergonomic design of spaces and workplaces. Their correct ergonomic design is related to the use of the correct equipment and the correct body posture and concerns, not only office work, but also work carried out in industries, crafts, shops, etc.
Ergonomic design considers the requirements of the job and contributes to:
- health maintenance of employees and the prevention of diseases, such as vision problems and musculoskeletal problems
- the well-being and mental health of employees
- increasing employee productivity
